Balliem is Beautiful Place

Many People think that Baliem Valley is great and beautiful place. After they come to Baliem Valley, they feel in love with it.
Sometimes, they are amazing” God created these place. But the local never say thank to God for God’s Creation, so that we must give and build awareness for them continuously (Balliem’s local People).
Why, I said like this?. I have the main argument that Local People have awareness but they have lowest knowledge for protecting area, like forest, mountain, and river and many other things.
Therefore, we give some kinds of conservation lesson individually or collectively by good educational system. In this chance, I would like to say that Indonesian government in Papua never protect Papua’s  Nature. The topography of Baliem Valley, located on the  141 and 137 degree on the sea level.  Baliem valley is suitable for building agriculture system. For example; Many of vegetables and fruits. Vegetables like Cobage, Bawang leave, Buncis, Carrote, and others.
The Baliem Valley separately by a river. It is Baliem River. In the  local language, they said “ I Badlim “. Viollance is the Colour of the river. Balliem river never clean, but it always violence colour. There are many fishes, lobsters. Local said “Kuna” dan Malay or Melayu said “Udang” . many people called it Udang selingkuh. Why, they mention it like that because form it. It is very amazing. Come and  try to enjoy it.
Many biology scientists never make research about this local resources’.  As the local generation of Baliem Valley, we are ready to help many people who want to do research about flora and fauna. 
 Sometimes, we could be difficult for looking some strategies for doing research because we don’t have enough facilities to support this idea.
Even though wamena is the small city but we are ready to become a transit city and the center of many aspects. Like, health system, economic system or ecotourism, education system, infrastructure system and social development.    Many people know that Baliem Valley is the nice place. It is a must place visited by you.  If you not come to Balliem Valley, so that  you do not  come to Papua, because Baliem’s Culture and art  is the representative of  Papua original Culture. The Baliem’s Culture is very unique and different from the others culture of the other parts of Papua.

On 5 April, in press center in The Hague, the first Dutch ILWP conference.
The theme of the conference was "The New Guinea Council as a first step towards the independence of West Papua"

Chairman and moderator was Frank Hubatka.

The program consisted of a short drama staged by the family Ap in a short time gave an overview of the history with the promise of self-determination for West Papua and the forced transfer to Indonesia.

After this short drama were the following speakers:

here are several advanced features for many of the toolbar buttons:

Render Pane

Display Assignment - Add or remove the name of the cell from the rendered equation. This name is derived from either the 'Name' assigned to the cell being rendered or from the text in the cell immediately to the left.
If no related rendered equation exists, then this button will render the text in the selected button and align it to the right. This is useful for rendering Greek symbols or other LaTeX to form labels for other cells.
To change the default state of the button, either select an empty cell and click the button or click the button with 'shift' key selected.
Display Units - Add or remove units from the rendered equation. The units are taken from the cell immediately to the right of the cell you are rendering the equation from.
If no related rendered equation exists, this button will render the currently selected text with the equation in the cell to the left.
To change the default state of the button, either select an empty cell and click the button or click the button with 'shift' key selected.
Box Equation - Adds or removes a border from the rendered equation, including changing the background color from transparent to white.
To change the default state of the button, either select an empty cell and click the button or click the button with 'shift' key selected.
Render using Cell References - Renders the selected cell utilising the absolute cell or ranges references. Therefore, if a formula uses a Name that refers to cell or range, then it is converted back into 'A1' style reference.
Render using Cell Names - Renders the selected cell utilising the cell or range names specified in the Excel workbook, where available. If no name exists, then any text labels to the left of the referenced cell will be used.
Render using Cell Values - Renders the selected cell utilising the numeric or text values from the cell or range names specified. If the cell is empty, then a zero values is used.
Redraw all equations - Refreshes any rendered equations that would appear differently due to any changes in the underlying formulas or values within the sheet.
Erase all equations - Remove all rendered equations from the current worksheet.
Erase selected equations - Remove rendered equations associated with the selected cells or graphics objects.

Format Pane

Change Format - Change the format of the rendered equation between:
  • Gif (raster) image - best for screen displays
  • Emf (vector) image - best for printing
  • Text - best for copying and offline usage
Change Font - Change the font used for the rendered equation.
Change Style - Choose how cell ranges are displayed. Using the formula "=SUM(D4:F6)" as an example:

Reset formatting - Returns the equations to the default state: height, width and background.
Increase font size - Increases the size of any selected rendered equation by 10%.
Reduce font size - Reduces the size of any selected rendered equation by 10%.
Launch the CodeCogs' Equation Editor - Opens the current cell formula in the CodeCogs online Equation Editor, where it can be further edited and exported into a wide variety of formats and deployed online.
Advanced settings - A drop menu giving you access to a range of additional links and options, including:
  • About - details about the product and the version you have installed
  • Forum - get support on this product and provide feedback
  • Email - tell your friends about this product
  • Registration - gain access to new features as they are deployed
  • Network - optimise your connection to CodeCogs.com, which generates the rendered equations

ICT untuk Pembelajaran , Live? or Let Die !

Menilik istilah-istilah terkait dengan web , ada electronic news atau e-news untuk berita-berita dirilis via web, ada juga electronic mail atau e-mail untuk surat yang dikirim via internet, ada juga e-commerce untuk transaksi jual-beli melalui internet, lanjut dengan ebook, emagazine, esocial, dst.
Secara tersurat, kemudian orang-orang menghubungkan semua yang bersifat ‘e’ itu dengan teknologi . Padahal teknologi itu adalah media yang dapat kita gunakan untuk memudahkan atau membantu kita meraih tujuan-tujuan yang ingin kita capai . Termasuk di antaranya adalah e-pembelajaran atau e-learning atau ICT untuk pembelajaran.
Beyond ICT
Perlu ngg sih ICT ? kalau pertanyaan tersebut disampaikan ke saya, maka saya akan balik tanya , tujuannya apa? Secara jelas tergambarkan bahwa ICT itu mengandung tiga komponen yaitu : Information, Communication, Technology . Dua komponen didepan menurut saya itu adalah yang pokok. Yaitu ‘informasi’ yang dikomunikasikan . Maksudnya , ada konten ‘punya seseorang’ yang kemudian di-sebarluaskan atau dibagikan . Perkara itu mau pake ‘teknologi’ atau tidak , itu perkara belakangan .
Mengapa saya bahas demikian? Itu karena ada banyak orang yang tidak memahami maksud ICT itu sendiri . Sehingga kemudian investasi mengeluarkan uang untuk keperluan yang belum terdefinisi tujuannya atau manfaatnya . Sehingga teknologi yang ‘dibeli’ itu kemudian jadi ‘cost’ bukannya jadi ‘benefit’ . Termasuk didalamnya adalah ICT untuk pembelajaran .
Kembali ke komponen ‘information’ yang ‘dikomunikasikan’ , saya memaknainya dengan peranan aktif dari user untuk mengendalikan informasi apa, diperuntukkan untuk apa. Saat ini kecenderungannya adalah user berperan pasif menerima apa-apa yang diberikan dari website . Sehingga informasi yang muncul adalah ‘garbage information’ atau informasi sampah yang masuk memori, membebani memori , kemudian harus segera masuk ‘recycle bin’ . Sebaliknya dengan user aktif untuk menjadi promotor berbagi konten maka akan terbangun suasana aktif berbagi dan menyebarkan informasi yang positif dan membangun .
Inilah ICT yang sebenarnya . Yaitu informasi (konten) dikomunikasikan (dibagi,disebarluaskan, diedukasi) , untuk mencapai tujuan (knowledge, educated, smart community) melalui teknologi .
Teknologi disebut bermanfaat apabila memiliki karakteristik : faster , better, larger, cheaper , serta menjadi ‘tranformation tool’ untuk terciptanya tujuan di atas. Sebaliknya , apabila tidak memiliki karakteristik tersebut maka teknologi harus di evaluasi kembali .
ICT untuk pembelajaran
Setelah memahami role information, communication, dan technology di atas, maka barulah kita masuk ke bagian ICT untuk pembelajaran .
Dimulai dengan why people must study? untuk lulus, dan dapat sertifikat/ijazah, kemudian bisa bekerja dan menghasilkan uang? yeah.. barangkali paradigma yang muncul saat ini, kebanyakan adalah seperti di atas .Cirinya , muncul banyak sekolah ‘komersil’ yang biayanya mahal dan banyak orang tua yang memasukkan anaknya ke sana. Baiklah , untuk alasan pertama , motivasi di atas dapat diterima. Mudah-mudahan akan ada motivasi dengan nilai yang lebih baik dibandingkan di atas.
Belajar dikaitkan dengan terciptanya ‘knowledge sharing’ dari guru kepada muridnya . Sehingga murid dapat memiliki informasi-informasi yang cukup untuk mengetahui pilihan-pilihan dan memutuskan , membuat solusi dari persoalan yang dihadapinya , yang tentu saja bisa meningkatkan kualitas kehidupannya.
Teknologi , merupakan alat atau media yang bisa ‘dipilih’ untuk membuat interaksi murid – guru ini menjadi lebih berkualitas . Dengan interaksi tersebut , maka ‘nilai-nilai’ yang dibagikan dari guru ke murid bisa optimal . Maka pembelajaran berbasis ICT memi liki 3 komponen utama : konten, learning design, dan teknologi. Komponen tersebut sangat berfokus pada guru sebagai content creator, learning designer. kemudian teknologinya yang tepat.
Pengetahuan ttg tujuan pembelajaran, pencitraan diri masing-masing guru menjadi faktor pokok pembelajaran. pemanfaatan teknologi akan mengikuti .
Terakhir , sesuai dengan judul di atas marilah kita untuk kembali berpikir : ICT untuk pembelajaran, Let Live? or Let Die .
